CEO
Randy Allen as Founder and CEO brings over
20 years of software and compiler development experience in
startup companies, advanced technology divisions, and research
organizations to Catalytic Compilers, Inc. His previous management
experience includes serving as Vice President of Engineering
at CynApps, Vice President of Performance Engineering at Chronologic
Simulation, Executive Director of Software Development at
Kubota/Ardent Computer, and Director in the Advanced Technology
Group at Synopsys. Dr. Allen is coauthor of the book Optimizing
Compilers for Modern Architectures, and has authored or coauthored
15 conference and journal papers on compiler optimization,
restructuring compilers, and hardware simulation. Dr. Allen
received his A.B. summa cum laude in Chemistry from Harvard
University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences
from Rice University.

Vice President Engineering
Steve Tjiang as Vice President of Engineering
brings 15 years of software development and management experience
to Catalytic. Prior to Catalytic, Dr. Tjiang served in management
roles at Tensilica and Synopsys,. He received his Ph.D. in
computer science from Stanford University, and has published
xxx papers on compiler construction, compiler optimization
algorithms for DSP, and behavioral synthesis.
Mark Santoro, Vice President
Business Development
Mark Santoro as acting Vice President of
Marketing brings 20 years of technical and business development
to Catalytic. Prior to Catalytic, Dr. Santoro was founder
and CEO of MicroMagic. Dr. Santoro has also served in management
positions at Sun and Weitech, and received his Ph.D. in electrical
engineering from Stanford University.
Lisa Schmidt, Vice President Sales
Lisa Schmdit as Vice President of Sales
and Marketing brings 15 years of sales and marketing experience
to Catalytic. Prior to Catalytic, Ms. Schmidt served as Director
of Marketing at Chronologic Simulation and Director of Sales
for Virtual Machine Works. Ms. Schmidt received her B.S. and
M.S. in electrical engineering from The University of Texas.
